The Vernyuy Tina Foundation is a non-profit organization based in Cameroon that works to improve Girl Child education and mental health access in rural communities. The foundation was founded in 2019 by Vernyuy Tina, a Cameroonian social entrepreneur and philanthropist.
The main goals of the Vernyuy Tina Foundation are:
Improving access to quality education for girl children: The foundation builds and renovates schools in remote villages, provides school supplies and learning materials, and offers scholarships to help children from low-income families attend school.
Enhancing mental health services: The foundation constructs and equips community health clinics, trains local healthcare workers, and organizes mobile medical outreach programs to deliver basic medical care to underserved areas.
Empowering women and girls: The foundation runs skills training workshops to teach women income-generating skills, as well as sexual and reproductive mental health education programs.
