
BIOGRAPHY
Vernyuy Tina ‘Musica’ is a Cameroonian Pan-African Musician, vocalist, Lyricist and Philanthropist born on April 17th, 1996.
Her musical journey started at age 7 when she began writing poetry and showing active interest in musicals. By age 13, her musical interests had developed further and were driven more towards rap music so she began actively writing rap songs and performing them at school and in underground rap scenes.
At the age of 18, she decided to pursue music professionally whilst studying for a degree in Geology and Mining. Upon graduation, she actively pursued singing and released songs like Pain, My Word, Fola Wu Lenjo, Show’em, Fap Kolo remix – all of which gained her attention in the city of Bamenda and got her some following. But it wasn’t until her feature appearance in the Tzy Panchak song “Na So” that she shot to national and Cameroonian diaspora prominence and recognition. Her verse on the song got rave reviews and critical acclaim. She became a star overnight and got a huge following on social media. She has since gone on to release songs like Música, Yùtí, Jéí, Afro Njang, Wêh Wêh, La Bague Au Doigt, and Silver.
She has also done covers for prominent songs like Charlotte Dipanda’s “Massa” and TayC’s “Ewondo ou Bami.” She has collaborated on other songs with Tzy Panchak and is working on her first musical body of work. She has also done other collaborations with Witty Minstrel , Ben decca, Kikoh and Wini.
