• Afro Njang is a an Alternative Brand (Musical Genre & Lifestyle) whose existence originated from a theory of Pan-Africanism and Code-Switching hence the linkage from the Sub origin of the Artist behind the genre (Njang – Northwest – Grassfield) to the Afrocentric Nature of the genre (Afro). Afro Njang can be confused with ‘Njang Music’ yet they are two different genres with different origins and philosophies.

• The Afro Njang genre was Born as of 2018 and for 6years now has stood it’s grounds; serving and mentaining it’s purpose of Pan-Africanism through diversity. The difference between Afro Njang and other Musical genres is seen mainly in It’s incorporation of all other Afrocentric genres and elements.

• The suffix “Afro” on its own stands for the Afrocentric nature of the genre while the “Njang” suffix stands there mainly as a representation of origin and background of Vernyuy Tina; the artist behind the genre. Afro Njang does not just incorporate other Afro Musical genres, but it is also a way of life that embraces and blends together other Afro Languages and Cultures. Some of which are the (Afro Acapella), (Afro Pop), (Afro Soul), (Afro EDM/Amapiano), (Afro House), (Afro Jazz), (Afro World), (Kwaito), (Afro Folk), (Funk), (Classical) (Rumba), (Makossa), (Bikutsi), (Njang) and many other African genres.

• The mission and objective of Afro Njang is therefore to create and export the treasures of our African continent, while still preserving the essence of African Culture and sharing it with the rest of the World through Actions that support Humanity.
